Volumes have been written on this subject, and the conflict and interchanges about where the "hot" slot machine games are located in a casino are still intense – over sixty years after slot games were first placed in casinos.

The quintessential rule is that the more favourable slot machine games were positioned just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that individuals going by would be able to see actual jackpot winners and be baited to come inside … play. Our resolve is that this is no longer true.

Almost all of the big name casinos nowadays are titanic complexes and now you can’t see inside from the sidewalk, so there’s no longer a reason to put the ‘loose’ slot machine games in close proximity to any entrances.
