The owner of the casino had initially thought the machines would be awesome to entertain tired wives of some of the biggest whales of the betting house. He didn’t anticipate that slot machines would be an enjoyable activity for nearly everyone and that the appeal would go beyond the the bored wives. Now, it is said, the slots make up over 2/3rds of all money brought in by U.S. brick and mortar casinos.
The slots certainly have a full history. From the small creation of the late-19th century to the million dollar industry of today, slot machines will continue to expand in universal appeal.
